My name is Esbe Banderas, and I am a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) based in Calgary, Alberta.

I didn’t choose this work because it seemed like a good career. I chose it because I have always been genuinely fascinated by the human body — by its resilience, its intelligence, and its remarkable ability to heal when given the right support. Understanding how the body works, how it holds tension and pain, and how it responds to skilled, compassionate touch has been a passion that has only deepened with every session, every client, and every year of practice.

I am a graduate of MaKami College in Calgary — the only institution in Alberta to offer the highest level of massage therapy training available: a rigorous 3,000-hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy program that goes far beyond industry standards. My education gave me a deep, clinical foundation in human anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology — and a thorough grounding in how to assess injury, manage pain, and build treatment plans that actually work. Not just feel good in the moment, but create real, lasting change in the body.

Over six years of hands-on practice, I have worked with a wide range of clients — from athletes recovering from sports injuries to professionals carrying years of desk-related tension, from people managing chronic pain conditions to those simply searching for genuine rest in bodies that rarely get it. Each of them has taught me something. And each of them has reinforced what I believe most deeply about this work: that the body always knows what it needs. My job is to listen well enough to hear it.
