Lymphatic Drainage

What is Lymphatic Drainage?

Your body’s built-in detox system — activated.

The lymphatic system is one of the body’s most essential and least talked-about networks. It runs parallel to the circulatory system — a vast web of vessels and nodes that filters toxins, fights infection, carries immune cells, and removes excess fluid from tissues. When it becomes sluggish or congested, the effects show up throughout the body: swelling, puffiness, fatigue, skin issues, frequent illness, and a general feeling of heaviness.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a specialized, highly precise massage technique developed to stimulate and support this system. Using featherlight, rhythmic strokes that follow the direction of lymphatic flow, Esbe gently encourages the lymph fluid to move through its vessels, clear through the lymph nodes, and return to the circulatory system — carrying waste, excess fluid, and inflammatory substances with it.

This is not a pressure massage. The power of lymphatic drainage lies in its extraordinary lightness — strokes so gentle they work at the level of the skin and the superficial lymph vessels beneath it. Pressure would collapse the very vessels the technique is designed to stimulate.

Post-surgical recovery (especially cosmetic procedures).

Lymphedema management.

Chronic swelling in legs, ankles, arms, or hands.

Skin conditions: acne, puffiness, rosacea.

Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndromeion.

Frequent colds or lowered immune function.

Detox and general wellness maintenance.

Post-cancer treatment support (with medical clearance).

What to expect:

Sessions begin at the main lymph nodes — neck, armpits, groin — then Esbe works methodically through the body using gentle stretching, compressing, and gliding movements, always directing flow toward the lymph nodes. There is no deep pressure. The experience is profoundly calming — many clients feel deeply relaxed during the session, and noticeably lighter and less bloated immediately after. Sessions last 60 to 90 minutes. Drinking extra water after your session is essential to support the body’s continued lymphatic clearance.

Lymphatic drainage is not appropriate for everyone. Esbe screens each client carefully during intake. This therapy is contraindicated for active infections, certain heart conditions, kidney problems, and cellulitis. Always consult your healthcare provider if you have any of these conditions.
